Learn to Crochet
The Class is free!
The instructor will guide the class through the basics of crocheting. The goal of the class is to have fun (of course) and learn how to make Granny Squares.
The class will meet on Sunday, March 1st, March 8th, and March 15th. 12:30-2pm in the Groton Community Room. No registration is required. Come drop in and learn a new hobby!
Session One: Learn chain and single crochet and learn how to read basic patterns
Session Two: Learn double crochet and slip stich and reading basic patterns
Session Three: Learn half double crochet and crocheting in front and back loops
Materials Needed:
1 skein yarn any color (Caron or Red Heart recommended)
1 crochet hook size g, h or i (4-5 mm) work best.
Optional stitch markers, and row/stitch counters
