Learn basic programming and game design principles by building a series of simple games with Construct (www.construct.net). In each session, participants will be guided through the creation of a simple game prototype, followed by creatively building upon that foundation to create a game uniquely their own. Participants' games can be published online for friends and family to enjoy. No prior programming or game design experience is necessary.

Benjamin Kalb is an award-winning game designer and has been working as an independent game developer in Tompkins county since 2008. His games can be found at http://www.blanketfortgames.com. He has taught game design and computer programming at various levels since 2017, mostly at RIT. Ben moved to Groton in 2025 and is looking forward to getting involved with the local community.
